Cloud based, healthcare demand and supply management platform

synapSYS is a cloud based, end-to-end healthcare demand and supply management platform. It is designed with the latest technologies and frameworks from the ground up by the Aetria team, building on more than 20 years’ experience and expertise serving the needs of resource constrained, rural community public hospitals (via HospitalOS), as well as some of the most advanced public and private hospitals with the resources to invest in the best information technology solutions (via iMed). Currently, the Aetria team has access to a customer base, representing more than 12 million patients visits per year, across private clinics, public clinics and hospitals, and private hospitals.
synapSYS allows any healthcare provider to modernize their Hospital Information System (HIS) on a low upfront cost, pay-as-you-go basic subscription, and per transaction revenue share basis. It can be the perfect solution for the owner of a single clinic, a small hospital, a medium hospital, a large/ extra-large hospital, or a group of the aforementioned. The open data integration and modular architecture design allows our clients to quickly and cost efficiently test and roll out new synapSYS modules to evaluate whether they address their business needs within their unique environment.
Our open data integration architecture allows for our clients to easily integrate our synapSYS modules with their existing legacy systems, and with the patient's consent, allows patient data to be shared across multiple providers taking care of the patient in both outgoing and incoming referral contexts. This allows providers to leverage the resources of their partner hospitals/ clinics to provide the optimal care for patients.
A provider powered by synapSYS would be able to predict and manage its resources to meet the anticipated patient load. We provide AI-enabled, dynamic patient consultation, personnel roster, and resource management tools to optimize the yield from the available base load capacity, by matching demand to supply. If additional capacity is needed at a provider station, pooled resources can be leverage, if the provider station is part of a network or within a large provider setting.
When deploying this dynamic, task-based care assembly model, it could become challenging to manage the quality of care from disparate caregiver team members. As such, our synapSYS platform has a performance assessment module and learning management module to ensure that caregivers as part of a provider, or provider network, meet the same healthcare practitioner standards. Furthermore, our AI-enabled, clinical care management module will recommend optimal interventions for the caregiver to consider when taking care of patients. Ultimately, we still believe and trust in the judgement of caregivers; unless it is a patient safety protocol, caregivers will always have an option to ignore the recommendations and provide feedback to our AI system to help improve its performance.
